on Florida's Nature Coast
For fine Italian Cuisine, New York style,
visit Enrico's Ristorante. Located on Hwy 41
South in Inverness, FL. Tell Rico Capt. Mike
said "Hi".
Visit the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park on
US 19 between Halls River Rd. and Grover
Cleveland Blvd. Take a leisurely boat ride
down Pepper Creek and enter the Park
afterwards. See animals native to Florida as
well as Manatees in the fishbowl. A must
see.
Baseball fans can visit the Ted Williams
Museum on County Rd. 484.
Visit the Weeki Wachee Water Park 20 miles
south of Homosassa on US 19 and State Rd.
60.
Try the Howard's Flea Market on US 19 two
miles south of Homosassa Friday through
Sunday. Look for the bargains that gift
shops don't offer.
Ft. Island Trail Beach. Go to Ft. Island
Trail Rd. and turn west off U.S. 19.Go to
the end of the road. (About 10 miles) There
is usually a lunch cart there with
refreshments. New fishing pier also.
Horseback riding at
Rymar Ranch (about 20 miles southeast of
Homosassa). Phone for reservations and
directions. 352-382-5400.
Visit Cedar Key. (The wife and my favorite.)
A neat fishing village with a nautical flair
and lots of gift shops and eateries. Rent a
golf cart for a half or full day. Take US 19
north from Homosassa to US 24. Go west about
20 miles to the end. (About an hour and
fifteen-minute ride.)
Visit the Manatee Toy Company. Numerous
manatee items at their gift shop. Located on
Citrus Avenue in Crystal River. Additionally
there are several antique and gift shops
within walking distance.
Try kayaking the Hall's River with
Riversport Kayaks. 352-621-4972.
Visit the Crystal River Mall. Located about
1 mile north of Crystal River on US 19.
Live bands on the Homosassa River on Friday
and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoon.

Homosassa River, backwater tours, Gulf, and
